📲 2. How the Combo Menu Builder Works

Step 1 — Create a Combo

From the Products screen, click:
+ Create Combo
(Located near the “Add Product” button.)

Step 2 — Add Your Basic Details

• Title: e.g., Menu Nº3 – 3 Course Meal
• Description: e.g., Includes a starter, main, and dessert of your choice.
• Category: Choose any existing menu category
• KDS Routing: Assign to one or more kitchen/bar departments
• Formats / Variants: Optional sizes such as Small, Large, Hot, Iced

Step 3 — Build Your Menu Steps

Click + Add Step and define:

• Step Name:
  Choose a Starter, Pick a Main, Add Dessert, Select a Drink
• Min/Max selections:
  Controls how many items guests must or may choose
  (e.g., min 1 / max 1 for mains; min 0 / max 3 for sides)

Step 4 — Add Options to Each Step

Click + Add Option and add:

• Option Name: Garden Salad, Soup of the Day, Steak, Pasta, Large Drink
• Extra Charge (optional): e.g., + USD 2

If an option matches an existing product or extra, the system will show its name and ID—this ensures consistent reporting and allows future upgrades.

Step 5 — Add Extras & Upsells

Optional add-ons such as:

• Extra fries
• Larger drink
• Premium toppings
• Sauce upgrades

All with optional additional pricing.

Click Save, and your combo is live.

For individual dishes that need multiple choices (poke bowls, pizzas, burgers, salads):

1. Open any product
2. Scroll to 🧩 Product Builder – Steps & Options
3. Click + Add Step to create stages like:
   • Pick Your Base
   • Add Protein
   • Choose Toppings
4. Add options with or without extra charges
5. Set min/max rules to control what customers can choose

This ensures customers follow the structure you need and that pricing stays transparent.
