What Transactions Report Are Good For
Transaction reports provide a detailed overview of your restaurant's financial transactions within a specified time frame. A full overview of everything that has been billed in your restaurant. It is invaluable for tracking sales, discounts, service fees, and VAT, and for managing refunds and reprints.
This guide is for restaurant owners, administrators or managers. Before you run a transaction report you need to open a new restaurant, add a restaurant menu item , and onboard your employees
STEP 1 : Accessing Transaction Reports
Log in
Begin by logging in to your Do Your Order restaurant account as a manager, administrator, or business owner.
Navigate to Reports
Once logged in, find the "Reports" section in your dashboard.
STEP 2 : Generating a Transaction Report
Transaction Report:
Click on "Transaction Reports" to access this report.
Select Date Range
Choose the desired date range you want to analyze. You can specify days, weeks, months, or a custom range.
Review the Data
The report will display essential transaction details including:
- Discounts
- Service Fees collected
- Sales
- VAT
STEP 3 : Taking Action
Manage Receipts
Manage Receipts: From this report, you can perform various actions such as:
- Reprinting receipts
- Issuing refunds (for the entire receipt or specific items)
Save or Export
Save or export the transaction report for your records or further analysis.
